Lando, a native of Guadalajara, Jalisco, obtained his Law Degree from the Guadalajara Autonomous University in 2000. Lando has 10 years of experience in civil, commercial, constitutional (Amparo), administrative, labor, and criminal litigation in Mexico. Lando specializes in resolving and preventing land disputes through the civil and criminal justice systems and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Lando also owns and operates a private security consulting and risk management firm, through which he provides clients specially-trained security personnel and advisory services to protect real property interests.
Lando has been practicing law and resolving land and other disputes in Los Cabos since 2002. He also has considerable experience in mediating conflicts and negotiating settlements out of court, as well as in drafting and negotiating real property purchase agreements and guarantees. Lando has excellent relationships in the criminal and civil justice systems, at both the local and federal level.
In addition to Baja California Sur, Lando also has experience litigating in Jalisco, the Federal District, Michoacan and Guanajuato.
Lando also has considerable experience in executing and enforcing foreign judgments and international arbitration awards in Mexico, including letters rogatory and international service of process under the Hague Convention. Lando is fluent in Spanish and English. |
